BlindTool is an app for visually impaired people where they can use their phone to see. To identify objects, users can wave the phone around their surrounding areas until they feel it vibrate, if the phone vibrates more and more it means that the user is getting close to an object. Once close enough, the app tells out the name of the object as soon as it recognizes it.

The convolutional neural network inside the app can understand 1000 classes based on ImageNet classes.
